Dogs and other pets must be on leash at all times.

* **Goat-head thorns:** These aptly named seeds can penetrate bike tires. Use appropriate tires and carry a tube-patch kit. Otherwise, leave the goat head in your tire until you get home to make repairs. * **Road bicycles:** On areas of soft-surface dirt, road bikes are not recommended. * **Camping:** Camping is not permitted. Contact the local jurisdiction to report campsites. * **E-bikes and scooters:** E-bikes and scooters are not recommended for the trail at the time of this printing. Use of e-bikes and scooters on the trail are managed by the jurisdictions. Refer to the parks and recreation departments for current rules. * **Vehicles:** Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the trail, except for authorized maintenance vehicles and auto-powered mobility devices. Contact the managing jurisdiction for more information, see page 233. * **Dogs and other pets:** Dogs and other pets must be on leash at all times. Owners must remove and properly dispose of all pet waste. * **Speed Limits:** The High Line Canal trail speed limit is 15 miles per hour except in Douglas County, where trail speed limit is 20 miles per hour.
